TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The annual festival Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2025 officially ended on Sunday night, July 13, 2025. The organizer, PT Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), recorded a total turnover throughout the event of Rp7.3 trillion with the number of visitors reaching 5.9 million people.

The Director of PT JIExpo, Prajna Murdaya, expressed appreciation to all parties who supported the smooth running of the event. "The number of visitors until the last day recorded around 5.9 million with a total turnover of Rp7.3 trillion," said Prajna in his speech.

Prajna revealed that this year's event featured 2,550 tenants and 1,550 stands. He said that around 50 percent of them came from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

"Jakarta Fair is not only a stage for flagship products, but also a venue for national economic recovery through the involvement of MSMEs and the creation of tens of thousands of jobs," he said.

This year, Jakarta Fair carried the theme "Jakarta Fair Supports National Economic Growth in Indonesia." He said the theme represents the organizers' commitment to promoting the competitiveness of local products in the global market.

"This collaboration is proof of a joint commitment to promote, trade, and promote the economic growth of Jakarta towards a culturally global city," said Prajna.

Not only serving as an exhibition and entertainment center, he said Jakarta Fair also plays a role in supporting the meeting, incentive, and exhibition sector, which directly impacts employment, cultural promotion, and strengthening national identity.

He also expressed gratitude to the sponsors, event partners, and the security forces from the TNI-Polri who ensured the security and smooth running of the event during its implementation. "We are grateful that Jakarta Fair 2025 could be successful and have a positive impact on the community and businesses," he said.

The closing of Jakarta Fair was also attended by the Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karno. The PDIP politician said the enthusiasm of the people was evident from the number of visits and turnover.

Rano said, with a total turnover of around Rp7.3 trillion during Jakarta Fair, it indicates that the economy in Jakarta is quite good. "This indicates that the economy in Jakarta is still doing well," Rano told reporters after the closing event.

Jakarta Fair has been taking place since Saturday, July 19, 2025. The closing of this annual exhibition will be held in a grand manner. As reported on the Jakarta Fair 2025 website, there are several events that will be held today, including music concerts.

The last day of Jakarta Fair started at 10:00 and lasted until 23:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time). The entrance fee on this last day is the same as on other weekends, which is Rp60,000 per person. Children under 1 meter tall and parents over 60 years old can enter for free.
