Prabowo Awards Bintang Jasa Utama to BGN Head

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto awarded the Order of Distinguished Stars (Bintang Jasa Utama) to the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana. The conferment took place as the head of state attended the inauguration and groundbreaking of the National Police’s Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) at the Palmerah Police Sector, West Jakarta, on Friday, February 13, 2026.

"Bintang Jasa Utama is awarded as a tribute to his great service in a specific field or event that benefits the safety, welfare, and greatness of the nation and state," said Presidential Military Secretary Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana, while reading a copy of Presidential Decrees Number 12 and 13.

Honors for Police Officials and Citizens

Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo also received the same honor. Deputy Head of BGN Inspector General (Ret.) Sonny Sanjaya and two other deputies were also conferred the first-rank Order of Distinguished Stars.

In addition, Prabowo honored the National Police Chief of General Supervision (Irwasum), Commissioner General Wahyu Widada, with the Bintang Jasa Wirakarya honor, who also represented four other recipients. Several regional police chiefs also received the honor, namely Jakarta Metro Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri and North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Wisnu Hermawan.

The head of state also awarded the Satya Lencana Wirakarya honor to 58 fish farmers, represented by Zaini Sidi. "Satya Lencana Wirakarya serves as an acknowledgment of their great service in providing significant contributions to the country and nation, which can serve as an example for others," Wahyu read from the presidential decree.

After the reading of the presidential decree, Prabowo took turns bestowing the honors on Dadan Hindayana and several other recipients. Following the ceremony, the head of state delivered a speech.

President Prabowo Subianto today attended the inauguration and groundbreaking of 1,179 National Police SPPG units and the inauguration of 18 Police Resilience Warehouses. Prabowo also inspected the free nutritious communal kitchen at the Palmerah Police Sector, West Jakarta.
