Museum Casa Alonso

The Museum Casa Alonso is located in an old house in the city center. It houses historical furniture and decorations, as well as exhibitions on popular Puerto Rican music, renowned Puerto Rican poet and patriot Don José Gualberto Padilla, and his daughter, Doña Trina Padilla de Sanz. The library, research, and study room of Pedro Albizu Campos contain a collection of historical documents and books.

Puerto Nuevo Beach

About 45 minutes west of San Juan on the northern coast of Puerto Rico lies Puerto Nuevo Beach. It is one of the most stunning urban beaches on the island, as mentioned by Travel and Leisure Asia. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for being among the cleanest and safest in the Caribbean. Its golden sand and dramatic limestone rock formations protect the shore from northern waves. Gazebos are scattered throughout the area (available by reservation), while open grassy lawns, a baseball field, a basketball court, and a playground add to the appeal for families. Vega Baja has launched a guided experience that explores Bad Bunny's early life through the city's culture, architecture, and landscape, but it only takes place from July to September 2025 (and may return).

In its place, there's the San Juan: Bad Bunny Origins & Cultural Food Tour. This eight-hour activity with a small group (maximum of 14 people) takes travelers from San Juan to Vega Baja. It includes tasting pan sobao for breakfast, street snacks, mofongo for lunch, and visits to reggaetón spots in Old San Juan along the way.
