TEMPO.CO, JakartaFollowing ADOR’s announcement in November regarding Haerin and Hyein’s return to K-pop girl group NewJeans, the company has just shared another update concerning the remaining members’ contract statuses.

On December 29, ADOR confirmed that Hanni will continue her activities under the label, while Danielle was officially notified of her contract termination. According to Forbes, ADOR explained that it had “determined that it would be difficult for her to continue as a NewJeans member and ADOR artist,” leading the company to inform her of the termination of her exclusive contract that day.

The statement also addressed the involvement of one of Danielle’s family members, as well as former CEO Min Hee-jin, indicating that they may be held legally accountable for their “significant responsibility for causing this dispute and for the delays in NewJeans’ departure and return.”

ADOR further claimed that the members “had been continuously exposed to distorted and biased information,” which allegedly resulted in misunderstandings about the company.

ADOR concluded the statement by claiming that it will "do its utmost to bring this matter to an amicable conclusion and to ensure that NewJeans can return to fans as soon as possible.”

While the remaining four members have already made their decisions, the group’s oldest member, Minji, is still in talks with the company. ADOR noted that it is “continuing discussions to broaden our mutual understanding,” as quoted by AsiaOne.
