The song 'APT.', performed by the duo Rose BLACKPINK feat. Bruno Mars, has once again set a new record. The hit has officially become the fastest K-Pop song to reach 2.2 billion streams on Spotify. As reported by the Ros Charts account, 'APT.' only took 433 days to reach this milestone.
Previously, the top position in this category was held by Jimin's song 'Who,' which reached a similar number of streams in 524 days. According to data compiled by Kworb, 'APT.' currently has around 1.8 million daily listeners.
Not the First Time Rose Breaks Records
'APT.,' inspired by the traditional Korean game Apateu, has not only set records on this occasion. According to the Korea JoongAng Daily report, the music video for 'APT.' also surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube on September 18, 2025, making it the fastest K-Pop music video to reach this figure in just 335 days.

Affirming K-Pop's Global Music Position
Another report from Korea JoongAng Daily mentioned that as of June 18, 2025, the song had held the title of the longest-running K-Pop song on the Billboard Hot 100 for 34 weeks. Even to this day, 'APT.' shows no sign of leaving the chart since its release on October 18, 2024.
'APT.' even reached the 8th position on the Billboard Hot 100 upon its debut. Thanks to its catchy melody and cheerful lyrics, the song peaked at number 3 in January 2025. Another achievement that places Rose as the highest-ranking Hot 100 solo K-Pop artist.
Citing Times of India, 'APT.' also won the Song of The Year 2025 award at the MTV Video Music Awards in the United States. With these various achievements, 'APT.' further cements Rose and K-Pop's position on the global music stage.
