TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Antam gold prices plummeted by Rp95,000 to Rp2,501,000 per gram today, as monitored from Logam Mulia's website in Jakarta, as quoted from Antara.
Likewise, Antam's buyback price is currently pegged at Rp2,360,000 per gram. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions, in accordance with Regulation Number 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram).
Selling back bullion gold to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value of more than IDR 10 million is subject to Income Tax Article 22, amounting to 1.5 percent for Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders.
Income Tax 22 for buyback transactions is directly deducted from the total buyback value. The tax deduction for buying gold is in accordance with Regulation Number 34/PMK.10/2017, where the purchase of bullion gold is subject to Income Tax 22 amounting to 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every purchase of bullion gold is accompanied by Income Tax 22 deduction proof.
