List of 67 Bills in Indonesian Parliament's 2026 Priority Legislation Program

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) and the government, along with the Regional House of Representatives (DPD), have agreed on 67 bills to be included in the Priority National Legislation Program (Prolegnas) for 2026.

Of the 67 total bills, 44 are continuations of Prolegnas 2025. The remaining bills are new proposals: 17 from the DPR, five from the government, and one from the DPD.

The Chair of the Legislative Body (Baleg DPR), Bob Hasan, announced this agreement during a working meeting with Deputy Minister of Law, Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej, and the DPD Legislation Committee (PPUU). During the meeting, the DPR, DPD, and government made decisions regarding the evaluation of the 2025 Prolegnas and the preparation for the 2026 Prolegnas.

"We ask for the meeting's approval, whether the results of the evaluation of the changes to the 2025 Priority Prolegnas bills and the preparation of the 2026 Priority Prolegnas bills can be further processed in accordance with the laws and regulations?" said Bob in the meeting room, Parliament Complex in Senayan, on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The meeting participants unanimously answered, "Agreed." Bob then struck the gavel to mark the agreement.

The 2026 Priority Prolegnas list proposed by the DPR includes revisions to the Personal Data Protection Act, the Online Transportation Bill, and the Daya Anagata Nusantara Bill, also known as Danantara. Meanwhile, the government has proposed several bills, including the Execution of Capital Punishment Bill, the Adjustment of Criminal Provisions in Laws and Regional Regulations Bill, and the Transfer of International Prisoners Bill. The government has also proposed a revision to the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Law.
