TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, or InJourney Airports, has announced a 50 percent reduction in airport service fees to support public mobility during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holiday season.
Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Rizal Pahlevi said the move aligns with a directive from the Minister of Transportation through Letter No. PR/303/1/8/MHB/2025 concerning discounted airport service tariffs for the holiday period.
“This policy is a concrete step by InJourney Airports to fulfill our commitment to support public mobility and help lower airfares during the Christmas and New Year holidays,” Rizal said on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
The 50 percent discount applies to Passenger Service Charges (PSC) at 37 airports managed by InJourney Airports for scheduled domestic flights and additional (extra) flights. The discount applies to tickets purchased from October 22, 2025, for flights departing between December 22, 2025, and January 10, 2026.
The PSC fee, which is included in the price of airline tickets, covers passenger services at airports. Therefore, the 50 percent reduction is expected to directly lower overall ticket prices.
In addition to the PSC discount, InJourney Airports is also offering a 50 percent reduction in Landing, Parking, and Storage Service Fees (PJP4U) for national airlines across all its airports during the same period.
Rizal explained that the PJP4U discount aims to support airline operations, which form an integral part of the aviation ecosystem.
“InJourney Airports operates on an ecosystem-based approach. The 50 percent reduction in PJP4U fees is our way of supporting airline partners within that ecosystem,” he said.
To anticipate the surge in flight demand during the festive period, InJourney Airports will also operate its airports around the clock as needed. The company has prepared contingency measures to ensure smooth operations and passenger comfort throughout the year-end travel season.
