TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto noted Danantara Indonesia's strong performance over the past year, achieving an ROA of over 300 percent.
The President stated that this achievement shows the significant potential of state-owned enterprise (BUMN) asset management when conducted in an integrated and professional manner. "I received a report, I am quite happy, the return on assets in one year, 2025, compared to the previous years has increased by more than 300 percent," said Prabowo during the celebration of Danantara's 1st anniversary in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
He said that establishing Danantara was a strategic step to consolidate state assets and provide greater added value to the national economy.
Danantara currently oversees nearly 1,000 companies, ranging from subsidiaries to sub-subsidiaries of BUMN. According to him, with solid control and in the right hands, this state-owned company has now achieved outstanding performance.
Furthermore, Prabowo emphasized that this positive performance is evidence of Indonesia's significant potential for managing national wealth more productively.
"Our premise turns out to be correct, consolidation of management with rationality, with the world's best standards. I received a return on assets above 300 percent," he said.
However, Prabowo pointed out that Danantara faces many challenges, particularly in generating higher net profits from its total assets.
The government will continue to encourage transparent, professional, and accountable management of state assets in order to deliver optimal results for the nation and the state.
