TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia is hosting the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup, which will kick off in Jakarta and Bandung and run from September 25 to October 5.

According to FIFA's official website, the Garuda team's opening match kicks off on Friday, September 25, when they host Singapore at 20:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time), as quoted by ANTARA.

Indonesia was selected as the Division 1 host. Group A matches were played at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) in Jakarta, and Group B matches were held at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung Regency.

Group A comprises Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Bangladesh, while Group B consists of Vietnam, Pakistan, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Following the opening match, John Herdman's squad faces Malaysia on Monday, September 28, and then Bangladesh on Thursday, October 1. Both matches are scheduled for 19:30 WIB.

On the final day of the group stage, Malaysia and Singapore played their Group A match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. The match took place at the same time as Indonesia's game against Bangladesh at SUGBK.

Similarly, Group B’s match between Thailand and the Philippines kicks off at 16:00 WIB at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. Vietnam vs Pakistan also starts at 16:00 WIB at SUGBK.

All 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup matches will be broadcast via EMTEK Media. Indonesians can watch 21 matches exclusively via Indosiar, SCTV, and Moji free-to-air broadcasts, the Vidio OTT platform and NEX pay Satellite TV.
