TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - BTS is officially back on the road with their much-anticipated world tour. The K-pop supergroup has announced its 2026-2027 global touring schedule, confirming a full-scale return following their long-awaited reunion.
Kicking off in South Korea in April 2026, the tour will run for 11 months through March 2027, covering 79 stadium shows across 34 cities on five continents.
With stops planned across Asia, North America, South America, Australia and Europe, the routing is tracking to be the largest tour in BTS’ career.
The announcement landed shortly after Big Hit Music confirmed BTS’ long-awaited return as a complete group. Their comeback album is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, marking the seven members’ first new group music release since completing South Korea’s mandatory military service.
The sheer scale of the tour places BTS among the elite tier of modern touring acts. While their 79 shows (for now) fall well short of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, Billboard analysis suggests the group’s stadium dominance could still push comeback earnings beyond the $1 billion mark.
Ticket sales for BTS’ upcoming world tour will roll out in phases across all regions. ARMY Membership presales begin January 22, with select markets extending into January 23, followed by general on-sale across all regions on January 24, with times varying by city.
Fans must register their ARMY Membership on Weverse by January 18 at 6 p.m. ET to qualify for presale access. Approved members will receive a nine-digit code starting with “BA,” with regional rules applying for U.S., Global, and European shows.
