TEMPO.COJakarta - Several schools in Depok received bomb threats on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The threats were sent via email to various school administration offices. The sender used the address [email protected] and identified herself as Kamila Lutfiani Hamdi.

The schools targeted include SMA Ar-Rahman, SMA PGRI 1 Depok, Bintara, Cakra Buana, SMAIT Nurrurahman, Budi Bakti, SMAN 7 Sawangan, SMA Nururrahman, and SMAN 6 Depok. In the email, the sender detailed the type of violence they planned to carry out.

"To the schools in Depok that received this email, I will bomb, kidnap, murder, and spread drugs to all of you. Just wait, all of your students will become victims," the sender wrote in the message.

The sender also explained the motive behind the threats. "I hate the education system in Depok. I do not accept it. The police are not fair and did not respond to my reports after I was raped and the man refused to marry me," the sender continued. "I am Kamila Lutfiani Hamdi, an alumna of SMP and SMA IT Nururrahman and a graduate of Telkom University. I take full responsibility for my actions."

Metro Depok Police Senior Commissioner Arya Abdul Waras stated that authorities are investigating the threats. "We are currently looking into the matter. We urge the public to remain calm and not panic over these unverified and irresponsible messages," Abdul Waras said.

Based on observations by Tempo, the Brimob Gegana bomb disposal team, along with Inafis units from the Metro Depok and Pancoran Mas Police, visited the schools. They inspected every room to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
