TEMPO.CO, Kupang - Former Ngada Police Chief, AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmadja, is set to undergo the first trial for a case of child sexual abuse on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:00 WITA (Central Indonesian Time), at the Class IA District Court in Kupang.
This certainty was conveyed by the Head of the Public Relations and Legal Affairs Section of the East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office, Anak Agung Raka Putra Dharmana. "We have received the trial schedule determination letter from the Class IA District Court in Kupang for the case against AKBP Fajar," said Raka on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
The schedule is in accordance with the Determination Letter of the Class IA District Court in Kupang No. 75/Pid.Sus/2025/PN.Kpg. The Kupang District Court ordered the Public Prosecutor of the Kupang City Prosecutor's Office to present the suspect along with the evidence and exhibits needed in the trial.
In addition to Fajar, the Kupang District Court will also hold a trial for another suspect in the same case, namely Stefani Heidi Doko Rihi alias Fani, who is suspected of supplying underage children to the suspect Fajar.
The trial for Fani is scheduled for the same day at 09:00 WITA, based on Determination Letter No. 76/Pid.Sus/2025/PN.Kpg.
This case has attracted public attention as Fajar is suspected of committing sexual violence against children, and even more tragically, publicizing these vile acts on foreign pornographic websites.
Prior to this, during the handover in phase II at the East Nusa Tenggara Prosecutor's Office, Fajar was seen bowed wearing an orange vest. This case is a clear example of law enforcement against officials involved in serious sexual crimes, especially against children.
