TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Manpower has announced the opening of the National Internship Program Batch 3 in 2025 for college graduates. Cris Kuntadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, stated that the available positions are across ministries, agencies, and companies.
"In Batch 3, a total of 6,542 positions will be opened for companies, ministries, and agencies with a quota for 13,652 participants in the National Internship," he said in a written statement on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Cris detailed the dashboard data for the program organizers:
- Ministries/Agencies: 2,012 work units proposing a quota of 2,800 participants.
- Companies: 4,530 entities proposing a quota of 10,852 participants.
Registration Timeline
According to the Ministry's data, the Batch 3 schedule is brief and tightly packed due to the program's required closing within the 2025 fiscal year. Prospective organizers and participants are therefore encouraged to register as soon as possible.
The schedule is as follows:
Registration of Internship Organizers: November 24 – December 3, 2025
Registration of Prospective Participants: December 4 – 7, 2025
Participant Selection Process: December 8 – 11, 2025
Determination of Internship Participants: December 12, 2025
Participant Orientation and Mentoring: December 15, 2025
Program Kick-off: December 16, 2025
Stipend and Program Goals
Previously, the Ministry reported that over 20,000 participants were accepted in the National Internship Batch 1, followed by 62,128 participants who were deemed successful in Batch 2.
Internship participants will receive a stipend equivalent to the minimum wage of the district/municipality, which will be paid by the central government from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).
Cris Kuntadi emphasized that the National Internship has become one of the priority policies of President Prabowo Subianto's government for new graduates, allowing them to directly familiarize themselves with the business and industrial world. This program also strengthens the preparation of young labor entering the market.
"We hope that participants can make the most of this opportunity to improve their competence and gain real experience over the next six months until mid-2026," he added.
