TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The trial over bribery involving imported goods at the Directorate-General of Customs has exposed the involvement of numerous figures. One of them is Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Member I Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana. Blueray Cargo owner John Field mentioned Nyoman’s name both during the court proceedings and in questioning by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Nyoman’s name resurfaced during the trial of former Director of Enforcement and Investigation at the Directorate-General of Customs, Rizal Fadillah, at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
After returning from an out-of-town assignment, the 55-year-old Nyoman met with Tempo reporters Febriyan and Lani Diana in his office on the evening of Friday, July 31, 2026.
During the trial, your name came up as the person who introduced John Field to Rizal Fadillah. How did that happen
I read in the media that Rizal got John’s phone number from me. I do know John Field. But it’s not true that I introduced him to Rizal. I also never arranged a meeting between them.
