Protests were once again held by several groups of students from various universities at several points in Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Metro Police recorded four locations as the sites of student demonstrations today.

A number of student organizations from various universities across Indonesia are set to hold a protest near the State Palace in Central Jakarta today, Monday, June 15, 2026.

3. American singer Oliver Tree Dies in Brazil Helicopter Crash at 32

American singer and comedian Oliver Tree has died after two helicopters collided midair over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday, June 14. He was 32.

As reported by AP News, the helicopters crashed in the western part of Rio de Janeiro, killing all six people on board. One of the aircraft fell into the parking lot of a car dealership, where several electric vehicles caught fire. The blaze was later extinguished by firefighters.
