TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Fuel prices in Indonesia have remained stable throughout August 2026, with major fuel retailers Pertamina, Shell, and bp keeping their prices unchanged since August 1.
So, how much does fuel cost in Indonesia this month?
Pertamina Fuel Prices
According to prices listed on Pertamina's official website on Monday, August 31, the state-owned oil and gas company has not changed its fuel prices since the beginning of the month.
For motorists in Jakarta, Pertamina's fuel prices are:
Pertalite: Rp10,000 per liter
Subsidized diesel: Rp6,800 per liter
Pertamax: Rp15,950 per liter
Pertamax Turbo: Rp18,300 per liter
Pertamax Green: Rp16,600 per liter
Dexlite: Rp19,700 per liter
Pertamina Dex: Rp21,150 per liter
The prices cover Pertamina's main gasoline and diesel products, ranging from subsidized fuel to higher-octane and premium diesel options.
What About Shell?
Shell has also kept its V-Power Diesel price unchanged since August 1.
The price is currently Rp21,910 per liter.
This means there has been no change in the listed V-Power Diesel price during August.
Have bp Fuel Prices Changed?
Fuel prices at bp stations have likewise remained unchanged since August 1.
The current prices are:
BP Ultimate: Rp16,760 per liter
BP 92: Rp16,130 per liter
BP Ultimate Diesel: Rp21,910 per liter
