TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The English Premier League has entered week 27 of the competition. The upcoming series of matches is scheduled to run from Saturday, February 21, 2026, through the early hours of Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (Western Indonesian Time/WIB).
Chelsea will host Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday with a 22:00 WIB kick-off. The Blues previously failed to secure all three points at home following a 2-2 draw against Leeds United. That result left Liam Rosenior's side with 44 points from 26 matches.
If Chelsea secures a victory against Burnley on Saturday, they will climb to fourth place, overtaking Manchester United. United currently leads by just one point and will not play their fixture for this week until Tuesday morning WIB at Everton.
Simultaneously, third-placed Aston Villa will host Leeds United. Under the guidance of Unai Emery, the team requires all three points to remain competitive in the title race. They currently sit on 50 points, trailing leaders Arsenal by eight points and Manchester City by three.
Meanwhile, City will face Newcastle United at home this week. If they manage to secure all three points, the gap at the top will be reduced to a mere two-point margin.
Arsenal, who played their week 31 fixture early, faced Wolves away and could only secure a single point after a 2-2 draw. In that match, the Gunners squandered a two-goal lead established at the start.
For this week's scheduled fixture, Arsenal will face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Mikel Arteta's team must win to maintain their advantage over the chasing pack.
