TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Superbank President Director Tigor M. Siahaan stated that support from the Grab ecosystem enables the lender to deliver more relevant, easily accessible banking services that add value to society.

"Going forward, we will continue to strengthen product innovation, expand responsible access to financing, and provide an increasingly seamless digital banking experience for millions of Indonesians," said Tigor, as reported by Antara on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

The strategic synergy with Grab, he added, has accelerated growth and championed financial inclusion for the lender, which trades under the stock code SUPA. As of April 2026, Superbank's credit disbursement surged 55 percent year-on-year, propelled by a deeper integration with the Grab and OVO networks.

One of the main drivers of this growth is the Self-Arranged Loan product, which users can access directly inside the Grab and OVO mobile applications. The financial product provides millions of active users with a faster, safer, and highly straightforward route to financing.

This operational expansion has been accompanied by a sharp increase in profitability. For the four-month period ending April 30, 2026, Superbank booked a pre-tax profit of Rp142 billion, marking an exponential 1,529 percent leap compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Grab Indonesia CEO Neneng Goenadi stated that anchoring its position as the majority shareholder of Superbank will strengthen the tech giant's commitment to delivering inclusive and relevant digital financial services. "Our increased ownership in Superbank reflects our confidence in Indonesia’s long-term potential and the important role that digital financial services play in expanding economic access for communities," she said.

Through Superbank, Neneng continued, the company aims to continually roll out fresh innovations and fortify its broader ecosystem, bringing tangible benefits to driver-partners, MSME merchants, everyday users, and the public at large.
