TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Juventus secured a 2-0 victory over visiting Atalanta in Matchweek 5 of the 2026/27 Italian League season at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Francisco Conceicao opened the scoring for Juventus in the first half. Bremer then doubled the hosts' lead with a header in the second half.
This result sees "The Old Lady" reach 10 points from five matches, placing them sixth in the provisional standings.
Meanwhile, Atalanta remain in 11th place with six points from five games, according to the official Lega Serie A website as cited by Antara.
Juventus threatened immediately just two minutes into the match. Randal Kolo Muani found space inside the penalty area and fired a shot toward the left side of the goal, but Marco Carnesecchi managed to deny him.
Atalanta attempted to respond by building attacks from midfield. In the 28th minute, Juventus finally broke the deadlock.
Conceicao received the ball inside the box before unleashing a first-time shot into the bottom right corner. Carnesecchi was unable to reach the ball, giving Juventus a 1-0 lead.
Atalanta had a chance to equalize just before the end of the first half. Franck Kessie fired a shot from outside the box in the 45th minute, but it went wide of the left post.
Juventus maintained their 1-0 lead going into the break.
At the start of the second half, Atalanta increased the pressure. Jonathan Rowe cut into the penalty area and aimed a shot at the bottom right corner, but Guglielmo Vicario managed to save it.
Juventus threatened again through Weston McKennie in the 59th minute. McKennie met the ball near the penalty spot with a header, but Carnesecchi was alert and kept it out.
The *Bianconeri* continued to push for a second goal. In the 75th minute, Pape Matar Sarr unleashed a low volley from the edge of the box toward the right side of the goal, but Carnesecchi produced another brilliant save. Juventus's pressure finally paid off two minutes later. Bremer won an aerial duel inside the penalty area and headed the ball towards the right side of the goal.
The goal put Juventus 2-0 ahead. Atalanta tried to find a reply during the remainder of the match but were unable to break down the hosts' defense. The 2-0 scoreline held until the final whistle.
