TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame gala will take place on Thursday, June 11, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Ahead of the event, organizers have already revealed some of the names who’ll be performing and/or presenting at the ceremony.
Rising stars Sombr, John Rzeznik, and Gavin DeGraw are among those slated to perform and/or present at the 2026 Hall of Fame gala. The trio will join three previously industed SHOF members—Nile Rodgers (2016), Dallas Austin (2019), and Steve Miller (2022).
The lineup also features singer-songwriters Brandi Carlile, Billy Corgan, Madison Cunningham, and Shelea, alongside duo Sistastrings. Actor Jeremy Renner, Kylie Cantrall, singer Tamar Braxton, and Tell It to My Heart singer Taylor Dayne are also set to make appearances throughout the evening.
The sold-out ceremony is expected to be even more memorable as Taylor Swift prepares to be inducted into the SHOF. According to Billboard, the milestone makes her the first Starlight Award recipient to later attain full membership in the SHOF. The Love Story singer received the prestigious honor in 2010, recognizing her exceptional songwriting talent early in her career.
This year's inductee class also includes Walter Afanasieff; songwriting duo Terry Britten and Graham Lyle; KISS co-founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley; Kenny Loggins; Alanis Morissette; and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, the hitmaker behind chart-topping songs such as Baby, Umbrella, and Single Ladies.
In addition to the inductions, the gala will present several special honors. As Yahoo! noted, British singer-songwriter RAYE is set to receive the Hal David Starlight Award, while John Fogerty will be honored with the Johnny Mercer Award, the organization's highest distinction.
