TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The price of gold bars issued by PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk. or Antam, remains at Rp2,670,000 per gram today, Monday, July 6, 2026. The price of Antam gold today is unchanged from the trading at the end of last weekend.
The price stagnation also occurred in gold buyback transactions, which stood still at the level of Rp2,429,000 per gram today.
There are tax regulations to be considered in every gold bar trade. Selling back gold to PT Antam Tbk with a value above Rp10 million is subject to a 1.5 percent Article 22 income tax (PPh) for taxpayers with a tax identification number (NPWP) and 3 percent for those without NPWP. The tax is directly deducted from the total buyback value.
Meanwhile, the purchase of gold bars is also subject to Article 22 income tax in accordance with the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 34/PMK.10/2017. The amount of purchase tax is set at 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Each gold purchase transaction is accompanied by a tax withholding certificate.
