TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Jakarta's weather tends to be cloudy throughout the day on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The potential for light rain exists only in satellite cities of Jakarta, such as Bogor.
Referring to the latest 24-hour weather forecast from BMKG, almost the entire Jabodetabek (Greater Jakarta) area will experience partly cloudy to overcast conditions on Saturday night until the early morning. Rain will only fall in parts of the Thousand Islands.
This weather condition persists through the early hours. The sky remains cloudy on Sunday morning, except in the Thousand Islands. From 07:00 AM to midday, parts of the Jabodetabek area outside Jakarta have the potential for light rain.
There is little difference in the afternoon towards the evening at 07:00 PM, moderate to heavy rain is likely to pour in Bogor Regency. Other areas are likely to remain overcast until the following day.
The air temperature in Jakarta and its surrounding areas is predicted to range from 23-30 degrees Celsius, except in Bogor where the lowest temperature can drop to 18 degrees Celsius. The air humidity ranges from 65-97 percent. Surface winds in the Jabodetabek area are blowing westward at a speed of 5-20 kilometers per hour.
