TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast mostly clear weather across much of the country on Tuesday, July 7, with several regions expected to experience cloudy skies, light rain, or fog.
According to Antara, clear skies are expected in Jakarta, Bandar Lampung, Bandung, Banjarbaru, Gorontalo, Jayapura, Kendari, Kupang, Makassar, Mamuju, Mataram, Palangka Raya, Palu, Pontianak, Samarinda, Semarang, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta.
Cloudy conditions are forecast for Ambon, Manado, Manokwari, Merauke, Nabire, Pangkal Pinang, Sofifi, and Sorong, while Banda Aceh, Denpasar, and Pekanbaru are expected to see partly cloudy weather.
Meanwhile, light rain is likely in Bengkulu, Jambi, Medan, Padang, Palembang, Serang, Tanjung Pinang, and Tanjung Selor.
BMKG also forecasts foggy conditions in Jayawijaya, urging residents in affected areas to stay updated on the latest weather information and exercise caution during outdoor activities and travel.
