TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - OpenAI launched the ChatGPT Pulse feature to help users organize daily information and provide summaries. Like the general function of ChatGPT, this feature is claimed to help users learn something or support their work.
"Today we're releasing a preview of ChatGPT Pulse to Pro users on mobile," OpenAI wrote on their official website on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
The technology company stated that this feature can connect to Gmail and Google Calendar to provide additional context for more relevant suggestions. Once connected, ChatGPT will organize agendas, send reminders, and suggest places to visit during a trip.
"These integrations are off by default and can be turned on or off anytime in settings," OpenAI wrote.
All chat topics will be collected, and the system will create a visual card as a marker. Although all of this is personalized, OpenAI claims that the topics displayed in ChatGPT Pulse remain safe and avoid harmful content that violates privacy policies.
The AI imitation model in ChatGPT will analyze user chat history, feedback, curated topic preferences, and data connected to Gmail or Google Calendar every night. Every day, the AI will generate a visual summary card. You can open the card to edit it or request the next AI steps.
In this feature, OpenAI acknowledges that ChatGPT Pulse will not always provide an accurate summary, but it will aim to be relevant to each user.
OpenAI is still studying this feature in its early use before launching it to the Plus subscription version. "With the goal of making it available to everyone," OpenAI wrote.
