TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Arsenal dominated the North London Derby by defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday evening, February 22, 2026. Two goals from Eberechi Eze and two from Viktor Gyokeres secured the Gunners' victory, while Tottenham had equalized through Randal Kolo Muani. This result puts Arsenal firmly at the top of the Premier League table with 61 points from 28 matches, five points ahead of Manchester City, while Spurs remain in 16th place.
Arsenal took the lead in the 32nd minute through Eze after latching onto a Bukayo Saka pass. Tottenham responded immediately two minutes later through Kolo Muani's individual effort. Entering the second half, Gyokeres put Arsenal back in front with a long-range shot in the 47th minute. Spurs had a second goal through Kolo Muani, but it was disallowed for a foul. Arsenal then extended their lead through Eze's second goal in the 61st minute before Gyokeres sealed the win with a goal in stoppage time.
In another match, Liverpool secured a dramatic 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. Alexis Mac Allister was the hero, scoring in the 90+7 minute to secure all three points. Liverpool now sits in sixth place with 45 points from 27 matches, level with Chelsea and Manchester United but behind on goal difference. Forest remain in 17th place with 27 points.
The match was tight, with Nottingham Forest creating early chances through Callum Hudson-Odoi and Elliot Anderson, but they failed to convert. Liverpool finally broke the deadlock in injury time after Mac Allister's goal, previously disallowed by VAR, was finally allowed to stand on the rebound.
Crystal Palace also secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Selhurst Park. Evann Guessand's 90th-minute goal secured all three points, moving Palace up to 13th place with 35 points. Wolves finished the match with 10 men after Ladislav Krejci received a red card and are now bottom of the table with 10 points.
Meanwhile, Fulham beat Sunderland 3-1 at the Stadium of Light. Raul Jimenez scored twice and Alex Iwobi contributed one, while Sunderland only managed to reply through Enzo Le Fee. This victory lifted Fulham to 10th place with 37 points, one point ahead of Sunderland, who dropped to 12th.
