TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government has just opened the offering of Retail State Bonds (ORI) series ORI030. Novi Puspita Wardani, the Director of State Debt of the Ministry of Finance, stated that this state bond instrument (SBN) is suitable for retail investors, especially beginners.
According to Novi, ORI030 has an easy-to-understand product structure and safe, easy, and affordable characteristics. "It is safe because the principal and coupon payments are guaranteed by the state based on the law, so the risk characteristics are very low. It's easy, because it can be purchased online through 29 Distribution Partners, and it's affordable because the nominal order can be placed starting from Rp 1 million," she told Tempo on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Novi also explained that this state bond has characteristics suitable for many retail investors' needs. This instrument is not only guaranteed by law, but it can also be traded on the secondary market once the minimum holding period ends. The holding period is the period during which ORI030T3 and ORI030T6 investors cannot transfer their ownership of the ORI. Starting on September 16, 2026, the ownership of ORI030T3 and ORI030T6 can be transferred.
"With this combination, the government is convinced that ORI030 remains an attractive investment choice for the public," said Novi.
The process of purchasing ORI030T3 and ORI030T6 is carried out in four stages through 29 distribution partners comprising 18 commercial banks, 7 securities companies, and 4 mutual fund securities sales agent companies. Here's how to order:
1. Registration
Registration can be completed by contacting one of the 29 distribution partners. Prospective investors can register in the electronic system provided by the distribution partner by entering personal data, a SID (Single Investor Identification) number, a fund account number, and a securities account number. For Prospective Investors who do not have a SID number, Fund Account, or Securities Account, they can contact the distribution partners.
2. Ordering
After successful registration, Prospective Investors place orders for ORI030T3 and ORI030T6 after reading the terms in the Information Memorandum. Orders can only be placed during the offering period.
3. Payment
After the order is verified, investors will receive a payment code (billing code) via email/sms according to the policy of each Distribution Partner. The payment code is used for investment fund deposits through the Persepsi Bank
4. Confirmation
After making a payment, investors will receive an NTPN (State Revenue Receipt Transaction Number), a completed order notification, and an allocation of ORI030T3 and ORI030T6 on the settlement/issuance date. After the settlement, investors can request Confirmation of Ownership of ORI030T3 and ORI030T6 from the Distribution Partner.
