TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Comic Frontier event or Comifuro 21 is ready to welcome Japanese pop culture enthusiasts. It will be held for two days on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 to 16, 2025 at the Exhibition located in ICE BSD, Tangerang, Indonesia
Aside from being a gathering place for creators and Japanese pop culture lovers, Comifuro also offers various exciting activities that can be enjoyed all day long. Here are five activities that can be done while visiting Comifuro 21:
1. Hunting Fan Merchandise at Circle Market
One of the main attractions at Comifuro is the circle market, an area where hundreds of booths offer merchandise. Visitors can find various merchandise, ranging from print art, keychains, pins, standees, to zines and comics made specifically by fellow fans.
2. Fun with Cosplay
Comifuro wouldn't be complete without cosplay. Many visitors come dressed in their favorite character costumes, from anime, manga, games, to tokusatsu. The venue area is filled with spontaneous photo spots, where cosplayers interact and pose for photographers. Visitors can participate or simply enjoy the creativity of cosplayers from various communities.
3. DJ Stage and Utattemita Session
Comifuro also provides a DJ stage and utattemita session for visitors who want to have fun while singing their favorite songs. The list of J-pop songs, especially anime and game songs, is the main choice. This moment often becomes a place to lighten the atmosphere and bring together fans of the same songs.
4. Trying Various Culinary Delights at the Food Court
After a satisfying stroll, visitors can rest while looking for food at the food court area. A variety of foods, from light bites like takoyaki to hearty meals like rice bowls, are available to refuel. The Food Court area is located in the exhibition area, precisely in front of Hall 8. This place is usually crowded with visitors, especially during lunchtime, making it the perfect place to rest and socialize.
5. Talk Shows and Concerts
In addition to shopping and cosplaying, Comifuro also presents talk shows, panel discussions, and mini-concerts from virtual YouTubers Hololive ID and JKT48V. Starting from local creators to enliven this session held at the main stage, Hall 6. Visitors can gain new insights, learn about the development of the creative industry, or simply enjoy live entertainment.
