6 Important Tips to Consider Before Visiting Comifuro 21 at ICE BSD

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Comic Frontier, or widely known as Comifuro 21, a Japanese culture and comic convention, is held for two days, on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 to 16, 2025 at ICE BSD venue, Tangerang, Indonesia. According to Tempo, on the first day, Japanese culture enthusiasts eagerly filled the location and participated in various activities that were offered.

Many visitors also came wearing their best costumes. The circle market area was also crowded with people buying merchandise from their favorite fandoms. For those planning to visit this event on the second day, Sunday, November 15, 2025, there are several things that should be prepared.

Here are six important tips to consider before heading to the location of Comifuro 21:

1. Bring your own tumbler from home

The Comifuro organizers prohibit visitors from bringing food and drinks from outside the event area. However, visitors are still allowed to bring their own tumbler or water bottle to avoid dehydration during the event.

2. Come to the convention early to avoid queues

The ticket exchange counters open from 08:00 to 18:15 WIB (Western Indonesian Time). Usually, even before the opening hours, the queues are already stretching to the parking area. Therefore, it is highly recommended to come early to avoid spending too much time just for ticket exchange.

3. Prepare a bag for shopping fan merch

When shopping for merchandise at the circle market, not all participants provide plastic bags for the items purchased. Some only provide plastic bags, and some do not provide any at all. Bringing your own shopping bag will make it easier to carry merchandise without the hassle of holding things in your hand.

4. Bring cash as a precaution for weak signals

Although digital payments such as QRIS are commonly used, the internet signal at the event location is often unstable. To avoid transaction issues, bring cash in small denominations to ensure smooth payment processes.

5. Don't forget to use deodorant and perfume

The high number of visitors makes the event location feel crowded and hot, and even the air conditioning is not always able to reduce the smell of sweat. Visitors are advised to bring deodorant and perfume for their own comfort and the comfort of others around them.

6. Bring a Powerbank

The Comifuro 21 event runs until late at night. With limited access to electrical outlets, ensuring that your phone remains charged becomes crucial. Therefore, bring a powerbank to keep your battery safe throughout the event.
