TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former K-pop idol group Enhypen member Heeseung is reportedly set to launch his solo career soon under the stage name Evan, as reported by Antara.

According to the Korea Joongang Daily, Evan opened his personal Instagram account yesterday, April 9. His agency, Belift Lab, stated that the profile photo shows his face with minimal makeup and no accessories, representing his purest form before being altered.

In response, Evan said that his stage name was valuable to him and had been used since childhood. He said he aims to present Evan with a completely new mindset, approaching fans through music that reflects his most honest and natural self.

No other details have been announced yet regarding their second debut or their upcoming new song.

Previously, Heeseung, now Evan, left Enhypen in March 2026. However, he will remain with the agency as a solo artist, and the group will continue with six members.

The agency declined to provide specific details about the decision, stating only that it was made after long and careful consideration.

Enhypen was formed in 2020 through Mnet's music survival show, I-Land. The group debuted with the EP "Border: Day One," and has since released songs including "Given-Taken" (2020), "Drunk-Dazed" (2021), and "Tamed-Dashed" (2021).
