TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto announced that the Housing Credit Program (KPP) will receive funding of up to Rp130 trillion in 2026. The program is designed to help Indonesians buy, build, or renovate homes at low interest rates.
Airlangga targets housing credit disbursements to reach Rp28 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
“We hope that the initial stage, which we aim to complete in the first quarter, will reach around Rp 28 trillion,” he said at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs office in Jakarta on Monday, November 17, 2025.
To achieve this goal, he urged banks responsible for disbursement, especially state-owned banks, to prepare strategies for a smooth rollout. He also called on Danantara, Indonesia’s state investment agency, and the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises to ensure the banking system is prepared to manage housing sector loans.
“Since this is a new program, there will certainly be further meetings,” he added.
Since its launch on October 21, 2025, the KKP program has disbursed Rp 492.13 billion as of November 15, 2025. Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Maruarar Sirait noted that disbursements came from nine government and private banks.
Private banks have led the disbursement. Bank Nobu tops the list with Rp280 billion, followed by BNI with Rp91.9 billion, BTN at Rp73 billion, Bank Artha Graha at Rp5 billion, and BPD DIY at Rp3 billion.
“This achievement shows that the government’s housing program under Mr. Prabowo has received a positive response,” Maruarar said.
