TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has launched a call center or telephone operator service called "Sahabat Gizi Indonesia" (shortened as Sagi) to receive reports on the free nutritious meal program (MBG). Individuals who wish to file complaints or grievances regarding the MBG project can contact the call center at 127.

The Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana, launched the operator service on Monday, November 17, 2025. "Later, all complaints related to the free nutritious meal program and the fulfillment of the rights of Indonesian children can be addressed by dialing 127," Dadan said during the launch event in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Dadan stated that the operator service will address all inquiries and will be available 24/7, allowing the public to report at any time.

Dadan mentioned that the public can report any grievances through the 127 service operator. For example, there were complaints about poisoning incidents, misuse of the kitchen budget for MBG, and the lack of menu variety. Employees of the MBG public kitchen or the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) can also report delayed salary payments.

Dadan promised that the reports received by the 127 operator will be recorded and followed up on by BGN. "So, ladies and gentlemen, members of the media, and the public who wish to inquire about something or have reports from the public regarding incidents in various regions, please contact Sahabat Sagi 127," said the lecturer at the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB).

Since its launch by President Prabowo in January 2025, the MBG program continues to receive public complaints. These complaints have been expressed on BGN's social media, including Instagram. On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the Instagram account @badangizinasional.ri was flooded with comments about unpaid SPPG head salaries.

In the post, BGN shared a photo of the MBG program activity at SDN Kalibaru 07 Pagi (elementary school) in Cilincing, North Jakarta. "Joy comes not only from their laughter, but also from the positive energy after enjoying the Free Nutritious Meal," the caption in the photo read.

One comment mentioned that the salaries of the Indonesian Development Enabler Bachelor (SPPI) Batch 3 had not been disbursed. "SPPI Batch 3 salaries have not been disbursed; the payment for the 6th of last month is late. The money is already there, it just needs to be transferred, boss," wrote the user @myname_is_i***.

User @rendisanjaya889 also complained about the same issue, questioning BGN's commitment to the workers. The user stated that they had already signed a stamped work agreement (SPK).
