TEMPO.CO, Jakarta The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has probed eight farmers as witnesses in the alleged corruption linked to land procurement for the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road in the 2018-2020 fiscal year. They were questioned on Monday, April 14, at the South Lampung Police Station.

"KPK is probing witnesses regarding alleged crimes related to the procurement of land around the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) in the 2018-2020 fiscal year," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto in a statement on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

The eight farmers who were questioned were Intanmas, Mansur Bin Umar, M. Nur Bin Solihin, Ali Hasan, Zainul, Hariri, Pendawa Putra, and Rosilun Yusuf, representing Amirudin.

Additionally, the anti-graft agency also questioned a civil servant named Qorinilwan, two individuals named Abdul Rahman Rasid and Andi Rifai, and laborers named Mansur Bin Kasim Saman and Abbas.

During the questioning, Tessa mentioned that the investigators reconfirmed the sale of land in the Kalianda area (South Lampung) by the farmers to PT STJ, which subsequently sold the land to PT Hutama Karya.

Tessa also stated that KPK investigators seized these land plots because PT STJ had only paid 10 to 20 percent of the amount, while the land titles had already been entrusted to a Notary. "These documents have also been confiscated," he said.

He explained that the seizure of the land and documents was done so that they could later be decided by the judge whether to be returned to the farmers. The land status has been unclear, while PT STJ is unable to fulfill the remaining payment. Meanwhile, the land titles are held in a notary's office, and the farmers do not have the ability to refund the down payment.

Previously, the anti-corruption agency had interrogated six witnesses in the alleged corruption case. “On Wednesday, January 7, a probing was conducted at the Red and White KPK Building," said Tessa, Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Tessa stated that the witnesses were interrogated to delve into the process of land transactions between PT STJ and PT Hutama Karya.

The six witnesses were Dalil Firmansyah as a private employee, Koentjoro as the Director of Operations of PT Hutama Karya and former President Director of PT Hutama Karya Realtindo, Thomas Ari Widyantoro as the President Director of PT Hutama Karya Realtindo for the 2018-2020 period, Sri Artati as a Notary, Rahajeng Anggi Andini as a junior partner at SKHA Consulting, and Setya Shri Laksana as the former Director of PT Sanitarindo Tangsel Jaya.

In this case, KPK has raided the headquarters of PT Hutama Karya and its subsidiary, PT Hutama Karya Realtindo (HKR), in connection with the alleged corruption within the land procurement for the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road project.
