TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The price of gold produced by Indonesia's PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) fell by Rp25,000 to Rp3,024,000 per gram on Friday, March 6, 2026, according to data from the company’s Logam Mulia website in Jakarta. The previous price stood at Rp3,049,000 per gram.
The buyback price, at which Antam repurchases gold bars from customers, also declined to Rp2,787,000 per gram. Gold prices listed by Logam Mulia may change at any time.
Gold transactions are subject to tax deductions under Finance Ministry Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017. The resale of gold bars to Antam worth more than Rp10 million is subject to a 1.5 percent Article 22 income tax for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. The tax is deducted directly from the total buyback value.
Purchases of gold bars are also subject to Article 22 income tax, set at 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP buyers. Each purchase is accompanied by proof of tax deduction.
