TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian men's singles badminton player Christian Adinata claimed the title at the Thailand International Series 2025, held on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He defeated his compatriot Richie Duta Richardo in the final at Stadion Terminal 21 Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima.
Christian secured his victory in just 39 minutes with a straight-sets win, 21-14, 21-19. This made him the sole champion among the 22 Indonesian representatives at the tournament.
The host country, Thailand, won two titles. In the women's singles, Tidapron Kleebyessun defeated South Korea's Yoo A Yeon 21-14, 23-21. The men's doubles title was also claimed by Thailand's Narut Saengkham and Apichasit Teerawiwat, who beat Japan's Masayuki Onodera and Daigo Tanioka 21-15, 21-17.
The women's doubles title went to the Japanese pair Mikoto Aiso and Momoha Niimi, who triumphed over Thailand's Atitaya Povanon and Patida Srisawat with a score of 18-21, 21-18, 21-16.
Finally, in the mixed doubles event, Malaysia's Wee Yee Hern and Chan Wen Tse emerged victorious, defeating Thailand's Ratchapol Makkasasithorn and Nattamon Laisuan 22-20, 21-16.
