The ranking reflect a dynamic shift driven by fluctuating stock prices, with tech titans continuing to dominate the upper echelons of global wealth. Elon Musk remains at the top following a strong recovery in his fortune throughout August.

Meanwhile, Bernard Arnault and Warren Buffett dropped out of the top 10 due to falling shares in LVMH and Berkshire Hathaway, making way for Steve Ballmer and Zara founder Amancio Ortega.

Citing Forbes, here is the list of the top 10 richest men in the world as of September 1, 2026.

1. Elon Musk
