The city secured the highest number of votes, maintaining its top position for the second consecutive year, based on the opinions of hundreds of thousands of travelers and readers worldwide.

Smart Travel Asia highlights Bangkok's appeal, which includes its bustling atmosphere and the diverse experiences it offers, such as culinary delights, cultural attractions, shopping, and the people's hospitality. They also describe the city as vibrant and colorful, both day and night.

Bangkok is renowned as a culinary paradise, with legendary street food stalls, Michelin-starred restaurants, and rooftop bars spread across the city.

Additionally, Bangkok is home to numerous cultural sites and heritage, including the iconic temples of Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho, which remain major attractions for international tourists.
