Google Claims Gemini 2.5 as Its Most Intelligent AI Yet

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gemini 2.5 was recently called Google's most intelligent AI model. There are significant improvements to this new intelligence model in reasoning, programming, and processing complex data.

Chief Technology Officer of Google DeepMind, Koray Kavukcuoglu, stated that the currently released Gemini 2.5 is still in the experimental version of Gemini 2.5 Pro. He claimed in the written statement, it has reached the highest level in various benchmarks, quoted on Friday, March 28, 2025.

Kavukcuoglu claimed Gemini 2.5 as a ''thinking model'' that can reason its steps before responding to users. This scheme improves the overall accuracy and performance of the AI. The model also excels in coding, mathematics, and science.

According to him, the Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental can be relied upon for complex tasks. This model occupies the top rank in the LMArena, which measures human preferences, with a significant difference.

Gemini 2.5 is also designed to understand a broader context than its predecessor. With a 1 million token context window, currently being developed into a 2 million token window model, it can handle text, audio, images, videos, and code repositories or container configurations as a whole.

Another significant improvement is related to programming. The latest Gemini can create visually appealing web applications and perform code transformations and editing.

Kavukcuoglu said they have made a significant leap compared to 2.0, with more improvements.

Gemini 2.5 Pro is already available in Google AI Studio and in the Gemini application for advanced Gemini users. Google also plans to launch this model through Vertex AI in a few weeks, along with announcing pricing plans for users who want to use it on a larger scale.
