iPhone 16 Series to Launch in Indonesia on April 11: Specs Unveiled

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Each model of Apple's upcoming iPhone 16, slated for release on Friday, April 11, will be supported with the claimed more intuitive Apple Intelligence system. The series of phones that will finally debut in Indonesia includes the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16e.

When broken down, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have thinner bezels, with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively. Both models utilize titanium material and a Super Retina XDR display. Their front screens are coated with the latest generation ceramic shield, while the back glass is claimed to be stronger than other smartphones.

The second-generation 3-nanometer A18 Pro chip powers the performance of iPhone 16 Pro. The semiconductor enhances power efficiency and graphic rendering.

As for the Pro camera system, it includes a 48 MP Fusion main camera, a 48 MP Ultra Wide camera, and a telephoto lens with 5x zoom. The faster quad-pixel sensor and A18 Pro chip enable 4K 120 frames per second (fps) video recording for high-quality slow-motion, and ProRes and Log recording directly to an external drive. Apple also provides studio-quality microphones for clearer audio during phone calls and recordings.

The design of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus is different. The screens of these two products measure 6.1 and 6.7 inches, equipped with OLED-based Super Retina XDR displays and dynamic islands. Like the Pro and Pro Max series, the front screens of the two iPhone 16 models are also equipped with ceramic shields.

Apple has installed the A18 chip to boost power efficiency and graphics performance in the base Plus models of the iPhone 16. These phones have a 48 MP Fusion main camera with 2x telephoto and a 12 MP Ultra Wide camera. The camera control feature provides lens options that can be customized to the user's preferences.

This device also supports spatial video recording that syncs with Apple Vision Pro. Users are advised to try the Mixing Audio service to adjust the sound after recording.

As for the iPhone 16e, it offers premium features at a more affordable price. This model has the best battery life for a 6.1-inch device. This device delivers faster 5G connectivity with the A18 chip and Apple-designed C1 modem.

In addition to the 48 MP Fusion front camera with 2x telephoto, the iPhone 16e also has a TrueDepth camera that supports autofocus. This product supports 4K Dolby Vision video recording up to 60 fps. As for security features, it already has facial recognition.

Speaking of colors, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are available in four colors: black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium. The bodies of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come in ultra marine blue, teal, pink, white, and black. The iPhone 16e only comes in black and white.
