TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is providing a jet fuel or Avtur discount to support the government’s policy on stable airplane ticket prices. This move aims to boost national air travel during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holiday period.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that the price adjustment includes a 10 percent discount on Avtur. This special rate will apply at 37 airport locations from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026.

"Through this special Avtur price policy, Pertamina Patra Niaga hopes to assist airlines in optimizing their operational costs, thus allowing for adjustments to airplane ticket prices to be more affordable for the public," he explained in Jakarta on Monday, December 22, 2025.

The 37 strategic airports receiving the discount are spread across Indonesia. In Sumatra, the list includes Kualanamu, Minangkabau, Sultan Iskandar Muda, Hang Nadim, H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin, Sultan Syarif Kasim II, and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin. Java locations include Soekarno-Hatta, Halim Perdanakusuma, Achmad Yani, Kertajati, Juanda, and Adisutjipto. Additionally, Ngurah Rai in Bali and Lombok in Nusa Tenggara are included.

In Kalimantan, the discount applies at Supadio, Syamsuddin Noor, and Sepinggan. Sulawesi airports like Hasanuddin and Sam Ratulangi, along with Pattimura, Frans Kaisiepo, and Sentani in Maluku and Papua, are also part of the plan.

Roberth added that this policy ensures uniform support across regions with high flight volumes during the long holiday. In addition to the price cut, Pertamina has secured a 30-day supply of national Avtur.

Roberth assured that Avtur stocks are in safe condition at all Aviation Fuel Terminals (AFT). Operational teams are on full alert to ensure smooth distribution throughout the holiday period.

"We hope that this step can support the smooth mobility of the public during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, as well as providing a positive impact on the national aviation sector," he stated.
