TEMPO.COJakarta - The Indonesian National Police have arrested 17 suspects involved in a cross-provincial and cross-country drug trafficking network ahead of the 2025 Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) music festival in Bali. Additionally, the police are still pursuing seven other suspects who are on the wanted list.

"Six syndicates were caught in this operation, with a total of 17 suspects and 7 individuals on the wanted list," said Director of Drug Crimes of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso in a press conference at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department building in Jakarta on Monday, December 22, 2025.

These suspects are believed to be involved in a cross-provincial drug syndicate, operating in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, and even internationally, in Peru. They were apprehended through a series of operations in different areas of Bali from December 9th to 14th, 2025.

"We carried out these arrests outside the DWP 2025 Bali area, before the DWP event took place, and then continued with the investigation until the event concluded," he said.

Based on the investigation results, the suspects utilized three modes of operation in their trafficking activities. These include the sticker system, cash on delivery (COD) system, and banking transfer system.

The investigators also seized several pieces of evidence in connection to the drug trafficking network targeting the DWP Bali event. The estimated total value of the evidence collected from this operation is believed to exceed Rp60 billion.

Below is the list of seven fugitives who are still being pursued, along with their roles in the syndicate:

1. RA, who is suspected to be the head of one of the syndicates and serves as the controller of couriers;

2. Tigran Denre Sonda or TDS, serving as the supplier of the goods;

3. Panji or P, a supplier of the goods;
