Thailand to Host Tomorrowland in December 2026, First in Southeast Asia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tomorrowland, one of the world's most popular electronic dance music (EDM) festivals, will officially take place in Thailand. Pattaya has been chosen as the venue for the event that will run from December 11 to 13, 2026.

WeAreOne, the festival organizer, has formed an official partnership with the Thai government and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to launch the latest edition of the festival, Tomorrowland Thailand. 

This music festival is known for its stunning stage production and sound, profound experience, and world-class performances from top stars. Tomorrowland has been voted as the Best Musical Event of the Year at the International Dance Music Awards for several years.

Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 marks its first in Southeast Asia, according to Travel and Leisure. Last year, Tomorrowland was held in Shanghai, China, for the first time in Asia.

The chosen location for the festivities is Wisdom Valley, Pattaya. Pre-registration began on January 8, 2026, and ticket sales worldwide will start on March 7, 2026.

Getting to Know Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland is an annual EDM festival held in Antwerp, Belgium, since 2005. Over the years, the festival has achieved considerable success and a notable reputation. Each year, Tomorrowland attracts over 500,000 visitors, and its tickets usually sell out in a day. Tomorrowland attendees can stay at the festival's official camping area called DreamVille.

Its popularity has led to the emergence of several derivative festivals such as TomorrowWorld in the United States, Tomorrowland Brazil, and Tomorrowland Winter in France.

Unlike the festival edition in Belgium, the Thailand version will not offer on-site camping for participants. Attendees are encouraged to book from various options of hotels, resorts, homestays, and other accommodations across Pattaya. There will be special shuttle buses to transport people from the main accommodation centers to the festival venue.

The festival will feature performances by global EDM artists and rising Asian talents. Additionally, there will be fireworks displays, advanced sound engineering, intricate stage architecture on several stages with fantasy-inspired designs, premium food zones, and interactive performances. The event will conclude with a beach-style afterparties in Pattaya.
